Online English is relaxed but has rules.
Common short forms
lol (laughing), brb (be right back), idk (I don't know), tbh (to be honest), imo (in my opinion).
Do
- Keep it short.
- Use emoji to show tone.
- Reply within a day.
Don't
- Use too many abbrevs with bosses.
- Write in all caps (looks like shouting).
- Send one-word "k" to close (feels rude). Use "okay, talk later."
Captions
"Sunset vibes โ๏ธ" works. Add a question to get replies: "Best beach near Mumbai?"
